Curiosity cabinets were a novelty that functioned as a conversation piece. The goal for this project was to create a contemporary open version of that lost curiosity cabinet. The result is flat pack frame with laminated linoleum shelves that hug around the oak beams. The variety in width of the shelves gives you the change to create small podiums for your most cherished items. You can display each piece separately or as a collection. The height and size are chosen so the objects inside it can be appreciated when sitting down as well as standing up. The piece could for example be used for a collection of vintage camera's as well as as a display of your favorite things.
